Repaint lists for the A2A C172, A2A Cherokee, A2A C182 Skylane, A2A Comanche, A2A L049 Constellation and A2A Texan ![]() This is the second best method behind having the ad4 file for getting these to work in P3D.Can't find the freeware scenery you are looking for? Take a look at the commercial scenery listing: All the objects from the original file are there and the taxiways are fixed, allowing me to use these fantastic files. I made a folder that I have one layer above my addon scenery folder and I compile the modified version to that. The solution to all of this seems to be the one mentioned above. If you were to open the airport using your ad4 file, reset the taxilinks, and upload it to Avsim as an AFCAD for P3D everybody that downloaded that file would be able to use it perfectly fine without issue. The issue, as I've figured out through additional research, is that I do not have the ad4 file but rather the bgl only and as such I don't have the "source" information. The taxiways are easily fixed by resetting the taxilinks to "Draw Surface" and "Draw Detail" which takes all of 30 seconds to do. It has nothing to do with FSX vs P3D, the models are the same between both platforms and your files, as well as others, will work between the two platforms just fine with the exception of taxiways. I added the Scenery/Global/Scenery folder to the LOM and it seemed to help with some objects.ĭo I need to do something to make sure ALL of the P3D objects are recognized by ADE? I'm at a loss, because I know I have the files and they appear, but ADE isn't seeing them. The main object that seems to be a problem is some sort of light pole object, however there are others that do this as well. The thing is, I know these objects exist in my P3D, because if I load the AFCAD without recompiling it, everything is there. When I compile, I get the warning about the black box objects and click yes because it says they will be there if I have them installed. When I open the BGL I see the various library objects, however some of them show up as black box objects. This is fine most of the time, however some AFCAD files do not have separate object files, so they are contained in the same BGL as the rest of the airport. Of course, in P3D I have go open up the airport with ADE and reset the taxi links so that the taxiways show up. I'm wondering if somebody can help me out.įor airports without scenery, or airports I don't visit often, I like to update them using an AFCAD.
